Note that the recent volcanic activity in Iceland is not causing any issues with arriving and departing from Iceland.
All regular tours and activities are operating as scheduled with the exception of Blue Lagoon visits and Reykjanes tours. The volcanic activity is limited to an area on the Reykjanes peninsula, with no effects on the capital area or other areas in Iceland.
In the case of any cancellations due to Blue Lagoon closures or other interruptions, a full refund will be provided.

El Faro


El Faro is a new and exciting restaurant that is owned and run by four friends that share a passion for food and having fun! We offer fun & tasty Spanish and Mediterranean food and Tapas with fresh Icelandic ingredients and pride ourselves of making all of our food from scratch in house. Our restaurant is located at Garðskagi and the beautiful seaside surroundings can be viewed from our dining room windows. At El Faro, we will welcome you with a personal service & friendly atmosphere.


Our Spanish kitchen is open every day of the week! We offer lunch from 12-15 and dinner from 17-21.30. For those who don't mind cooking, you can also pick up takeaway food from us.


Our cafe is open from 12-17 every day and our bar from 12-23. There is a happy hour at our bar every day from 15-17.30 where our guests can enjoy refreshing drinks at a good price. If you want to play billiards, we also have a billiard table in the house. Looking forward to seeing you!
